ITS part of Northern Europe’s largest PV plant

The largest photovoltaic plant in Northern Europe is part of Glava Energy Center (GEC), which primary role is to provide an established site for innovation, learning, technical development, testing, demonstrations, and inspiration within renewable energy.

Glava Energy Center, situated 33 km south west of Arvika in central Sweden, has been set up thanks to enthusiasts from various companies and associations, and a managing organization has been established.

- We are convinced that many of the solutions for the future, as better utilizing of energy, are to be found across different parties and industries. Through the GEC organization we are able to bring together and develop the expertise that exist within this field, Tommy Strömberg, EVP Projects at Innotech Solar, and one of GEC's initiators says.

The PV plant includes among others modules from Innotech Solar and has a central role in this research and testing facility. The plant will produce around 100.000 kWh per year when fully installed.

GEC is aiming to write history and become a regional, national and international success story for issues that are vital for the environment and future generations. Glava Energy Center is an exciting development project where all participants are winners.
